Still no one in the "confirmed" section worth getting riled up about, but the lineup looks to be of pretty high calibre. An excellent Mojave Tent (primarily indie dance) seems to be shaping up, with Hot Chip, Les Savy Fav, Dan Deacon, and VHS or Beta. 2008 looks to be the year of reunions nobody asked for, with Blind Melon, The Verve, The Breeders, and Portishead dredging up only vaguely nice memories from the 90s. It's also worth noting that the LA Times blog bands smack a little too closely to this blog's album of the year list from 2007. Perhaps buzz is being invented by dropping names of all the shamelessly overblogged acts from last year. Look forward to more "no spin" Coachella news in the next week!
